Pilates is a fantastic form of exercise that focuses on strengthening your core muscles, improving your strength and flexibility as well as your mental health and wellbeing. Many rehabilitation exercises used by health professionals are based on the Pilates method. People from all walks of life, manual workers, drivers and those that sit at a desk all day will find great benefits with regular practice and it is a great complement to more cardio forms of exercise.
Whether you are coming to Pure Pilates as a complete beginner or a more experienced practitioner, you are making a commitment to yourself and your physical and mental health.
Having practised Pilates for many years now, I decided to train as a teacher to share the many health benefits and positive body changes that the regular practice of Pilates brings about.
I am a Level 3 Qualified Teacher in Mat-Based Pilates and fully insured.
Pure Pilates
Classes
In my Pilates classes the exercises are layered and adapted from the Joseph Pilates original set of 34 exercises. Layering the exercises, from easy to more difficult, means that you can work safely and at your own level.
Exercises can also be developed, by either changing them slightly or adding equipment like bands, small balls, circles and rollers and will vary every week. My classes are suitable for men and women of both beginner and intermediate level. All equipment is provided. Each class ends with a short relaxation.
